Our incredible swimmer made waves this season, showing strength, determination, and true Bear pride in every race 🏊‍♀️💙! She represents LVISD with excellence, and we are so proud of all she has accomplished 🌊🐻🏆!

Our wrestling team dominated the mats this season, bringing home district titles, top finishes, and countless medals through grit, strength, and determination 🤼💪🏆! These Bears showed LVISD pride in every match, proving that hard work and heart lead to incredible success 🐻💙🤍!

Our Varsity Girls Basketball team shined all season, bringing home district honors, individual awards, and unforgettable moments on the court 🏀💙! These Lady Bears played with heart, teamwork, and determination, representing LVISD pride at the highest level 🐻🤍🏆!

Our Varsity Boys Basketball team dominated the season, earning district championships, top honors, and impressive individual awards through hard work and determination 🏀💙! These Bears brought the energy every game, showcasing grit, and unstoppable teamwork 🐻🤍🏆!

It’s time to celebrate some of our district’s true difference-makers! 🎉✨

This week, we’re shining a bright spotlight on our incredible Educational Diagnosticians — the behind-the-scenes heroes who help every Bear reach their fullest potential! 🐾💙

With sharp minds and even bigger hearts, they dig deep to understand each student’s unique strengths and needs. From comprehensive evaluations to meaningful conversations with families and teachers, they help build the roadmap that leads to student success. 🗺️📚

Because of their expertise, compassion, and teamwork, our students receive the support they need to grow, thrive, and shine. 🌟 Their impact is felt in every classroom, every campus, every day.

Our Child Nutrition team had a great time celebrating National School Breakfast Week (March 2–5) with fun breakfast favorites for students across the district!
Students were able to sample new breakfast items during meal service, and many of those items were then served the next day for breakfast. It was exciting to see students try new foods and discover some new favorites!

🍕 Breakfast Pizza on Flatbread
🍑🍌 Peach & Banana Yogurt Parfaits
🥤 Fresh Fruit Smoothies

To top off the celebration, campuses also served a special Breakfast for Lunch featuring French toast, eggs, sausage, hash browns, fruit, juice, and milk!

A big thank you to our amazing Child Nutrition staff who work hard every day to provide nutritious meals that help fuel our La Vernia Bears for learning and success. 💙🐻

March 6th was Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day! We celebrated the hardworking individuals who keep our campuses running safely and smoothly every day. From fixing what breaks to making sure our facilities are ready for students and staff, our maintenance team plays a vital role in supporting learning across La Vernia ISD.

Your dedication, skill, and behind-the-scenes efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do for our Bear community!

Today, we had the honor of celebrating Ms. Celeste Nored, our incredible junior high theater teacher, who was named KSAT Educator of the Month for March! 🌟

In partnership with Firstmark Credit Union, the KSAT team joined by Firstmark representatives,surprised Ms. Nored in her classroom, creating a moment filled with excitement, applause, and a few happy tears.

Ms. Nored inspires her students every day through creativity, confidence, and a love for the arts. Her classroom is a place where students find their voice, take risks, and truly shine on and off the stage. 🎬✨

We are so proud of the impact she makes and grateful to KSAT and Firstmark Credit Union for recognizing outstanding educators in our community.
