With your help, we can deliver MORE meals to MORE children, MORE families, MORE seniors, and MORE veterans in our local communities. Last year’s event brought in 51,517 pounds of food and $37,446, equaling 155,314 meals! The Students Change Hunger Competition runs from 9/9/24-1/27/25.

AP Environmental: Major Land Biomes Lesson

In Mrs. Wajda's AP Environmental Science class, students "speed dated" to match each other with Major Land Biomes—regions like deserts, forests, and grasslands, each with unique climates, plants, and animals! Through quick questions, they used their biome knowledge to figure out who had which one.

Passion First teaches understanding that each of us is a unique expression of human existence, and that our lives should be focused on finding our individual genius. Essential to this is making our dreams authentic and aligned with our core values.

4 Key Components in this Mindset include:

  • Focus on Strengths
  • Explore Your Interests
  • Take a Stand
  • Be Authentic

Finding Stability

If your family is experiencing economic challenges or homelessness, visit the McKinney Vento webpage for essential information and guidance on available resources.

Message Regarding Doordash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc.

Please be advised, WHS will not accept food deliveries from services such as DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc. for students in our school. While we understand the convenience these services provide, they create significant disruptions within our main office. More importantly, allowing outside food/lunch deliveries raises concerns about the safety and security of our students and staff.

Please note: Parents and guardians are still permitted to drop off lunch for students who may have forgotten their meals. However, we ask that you coordinate these drop-offs directly through our main office to ensure a smooth process.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritize the well-being and security of our school community.
