Lambs Ledger

September brought incredible learning and joyful celebrations to our school!

We are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15–October 15, by learning about the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Our October 2 parade was a wonderful celebration, and we loved seeing so many families along our Welcome Walk!

Did you notice a special detail? Along the sidewalks within our gated community, “welcome” is written in the 18 languages represented in our learning community. Each greeting reminds us that every family belongs here. Thank you for helping us honor the cultures, languages, and stories that enrich our school.

Our surprise pop-up Positive Referral Party brought plenty of smiles! We loved treating our AMAZING students to popsicles and a little fun to celebrate their positive choices. Their excitement reminded us how much joy comes from recognizing the good our students do each day!

This is the last week of Quarter 1—let’s finish strong! Check with your child about missing assignments and read teacher newsletters for updates. Teachers will reach out soon to schedule family data conferences to celebrate progress and plan next steps together.

Please remember:

• Friday, October 9: Half-day dismissal at 10:40 a.m.

• Monday, October 12: No school for students; teacher workday.

Join us Friday for “Lambs: The Last Chapter,” our final book fair in our current building and a chance to make bookmarks with your family. Let’s make another special memory together!

Thank you for a wonderful first quarter and for helping us build the future, one brick at a time!

With appreciation,
Kayela Clark
