Congratulations to Golden High School FCCLA
A recently received impact report highlights Golden High School FCCLA’s success during the 2025–2026 school year! Through the FACTS traffic safety initiative in partnership with the Colorado Department of Transportation, students created the “Eyes Up, Demons!” distracted driving campaign. (You have seen pieces of their campaign in the parking lot or on Demon News!) Their work earned recognition from the national FCCLA organization and a $7,500 travel stipend to present their project at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.
Golden was one of ten participating Colorado chapters whose student-led campaigns collectively reached more than 28,000 people statewide, which is a powerful example of students making a meaningful community impact. Go Demons!
