BES Parent Weekly Email
April 18, 2025
From the Principal
Parents,
We had another great week at Belton Elementary! I have been so encouraged seeing how hard our students are working preparing for the end of the year!
Here are a few things for you to be aware of...
- The April 18 E-Learning Work is due to your child's teacher no later than April 25th to receive attendance credit for the e-learning credit.
Progress reports will be available online through Parent Portal on April 22.
Spring Pictures were sent home with your child. Please be sure to return the pictures, if you do not wish to purchase them. The deadline for this is April 25.
Friday, April 25 students can purchase a popsicle at recess for $1.
As always, thank you so much for your support.

- April 18- eLearning - (Asynchronous learning, meaning students will not physically be required to attend online instructional sessions or complete work on that day.)
- May 21 and 22- full days - These will be face-to-face and are currently both half days.)
- May 23- eLearning (Asynchronous enrichment which will not count toward students' grade.)

Reminders
Transportation Change
You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.
Breakfast
If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.
Tardy Bell
The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am. Students must be in their classroom by 7:45am in order to not be tardy. Parents must park and walk their child in if they are tardy.
Early Dismissal
Students will not be allowed to be dismissed from class after 2:00pm without administrator approval. Please plan doctor appointments accordingly.
Free Lunch
Breakfast and Lunch are free for all of our students this year!
