Celebrations from the Week

  • The fall season is here, and we are so excited about the learning and progress happening across our classrooms. Teachers are working hard to help students succeed academically, and our support staff are dedicated to each child’s well‑being.
  • We are grateful to see students engaging in lessons, trying new skills, and showing kindness to one another.
  • Please help us continue this momentum by making every effort to have your child arrive at school on time. Being present and punctual supports learning routines and success.

Thank you for your ongoing support in partnering with us to help your child thrive.

Additional Information & Reminder

  • Woods Lake is a No Smoking Zone. This includes the car rider line and school grounds during pick-up and drop-off times. An officer informed us that a recent report was made about a parent smoking on the premises. Please be aware that school staff and local officers monitor the area and that there may be fines for violations.
  • We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our campus safe and healthy for all students and families.

Thank you again for your continued support, involvement, and care. We are grateful for our Woods Lake families and look forward to the continued partnership as we support student learning and well-being together.

Warm Regards,

Ms. Prather

📖 Miss T's Book Club Update 📖 📖 Miss T's Book Club Update 📖

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Due to absences and fall conferences, Miss T’s Book Club will be extended by one additional week (NOV.20th). This will ensure all students have the time they need to finish the book, participate fully, and enjoy our final activities together.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support — we’re excited to give the kids a little extra time to read, discuss, and dive deeper into our story! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Staying Healthy This Fall

  • Wash hands often—especially before eating and after recess.

  • Encourage plenty of rest and good nutrition to support immunity.

  • Remind students to cover coughs/sneezes and use tissues.

  • Stay home when sick to prevent spreading illness. Be sure to call the school office to excuse absences.

  • Be sure your child is up to date on all required immunizations.

Together, we can help our students stay safe, healthy, and ready to learn!
