Principal Message
This week's highlight was Pink Shirt Day on Wednesday. This is a day to recognize being kind and considerate of each other. It was great to see so many pink shirts on our students. I also want to say thank you to the volunteers that provided students with a lovely pancake breakfast.
Thursday our Grade 4 class assisted with the seniors fancy tea. While I was unable to make it this year, I hear that it was very well attended and our students did a great job. I am very proud of them and thankful for the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the tea and Grand Parents Program every year.
Thursday was also the start of our division 2 mini-basketball extra curricular. We have an impressively large group sign-up for this activity. Information on the annual tournament will be released as soon as it is available. Division 1 will be starting later this spring and there is still time to sign up please talk to Miss Weninger.
Next week is a four day week. Friday is a pd day.
For those who signed up dental fluoride will be Monday and Tuesday.
Please check out our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/wildwoodalberta to see a post about the completion of the Wildwood Olympics Gym unit and may pictures.
As always feel free to reach out regarding any questions or concerns by calling the school at 780-325-3858 or emailing me at alanstoy@gypsd.ca.

FOPLS
Our students from Evansview, Wildwood, and Grand Trunk High School are coming together under one roof — and we want to make sure they have a playground that brings them together too!
The Friends of Pembina Learning Society (FOPLS) is running a raffle fundraiser to help create a fun, safe, and engaging space where kids can play, grow, and make memories for years to come.
Your support will help make this playground a place our children are proud to call their own!
Would you like to volunteer at Wildwood School?
