Mill Valley Weekly
October 17th, 2024

Hello Mill Valley Families,
Tonight we conclude the second night of Parent-Teacher Conferences. This is always a great time to connect with staff, get all the exciting updates that are taking place and learn where the months ahead will take us. Thank you for your engagement. This is just one of the many opportunities to receive feedback on how your child is learning at Mill Valley.
Throughout the year, we continue to look for other ways to provide feedback from the school and staff which includes:
- Notes/comments on papers in take home folders
- Recognition certificates (ex: Paw Print Winners)
- Monthly Golden Awards
- Recess Royalty recognition
- Information shared on Seesaw/Google Classroom/Emails
- Student Howl Out phone calls
- Classroom newsletters
- Positive contacts home
- and many more
We value the partnership between our school and families and feel grateful to work with the supportive families we serve.
Sincerely,
Allyce & Julie

Parent Pick Up Information
Yellow Rope at Entrance
We will no longer be putting up the yellow rope at the entrance for parent pick-up to ensure all of our buses get into the lot on time. However, even though the rope is not up, the lot does not open until 3:45 pm.
Please remain parked until the bell rings at 3:45 pm. Attempting to pull out prior to 3:45 pm causes Hillendale Drive to be blocked to thru traffic. Pulling out early from parking stalls in the parking lot blocks other staff and families from exiting the lot.
Yield to Turning Buses
The parent pick up car line is to YIELD to buses turning left into the parking lot.
Thank you for your cooperation to help make the end of day dismissal routines run smoothly.
