There is an amazing addition to the FARM, which is located at the North Little Rock Middle School campus!
School leaders, along with Baldwin & Shell, Pinnacle Structures, and various subcontractors, cut the ribbon to officially open the new storage building.
The structure will be used to store animal feed and gardening tools. It will also serve as shelter for animals during inclement weather.
This project is a culmination of a community effort. After thieves broke into a building adjacent to the FARM and stole equipment valued at $5,000, many parents and community members stepped in to help.
The North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce's youth leadership program, North Little Rock Youth Leadership, is beginning its 30th year of building and empowering students to become the next future leaders.
The program is designed for high school JUNIORS who live in North Little Rock without regard to which school they attend and students from surrounding areas that attend North Little Rock High School or North Little Rock Center of Excellence.
Students are excused from classes to attend sessions.
This is an excellent opportunity for juniors to include on scholarship and college applications!
