This week in our Green STEM Lab, Grade 3 students engaged in hands-on learning that sparked creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Students explored digital design, built engineering models, worked with patterns, and strengthened their numeracy skills through interactive activities. These experiences allow students to think critically, test ideas, and learn from one another while connecting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in meaningful ways. The Green STEM Lab continues to be a space where curiosity grows and innovation comes to life.

Upcoming Parish Events

During Math, students explored numeracy concepts through interactive card games and hands-on activities. By flipping cards, counting values, and combining numbers, students practiced mental math, addition strategies, and number sense in a fun and engaging way. Working in small groups encouraged collaboration, discussion, and problem-solving as students explained their thinking and supported one another. These playful learning moments help build confidence in mathematics while strengthening foundational skills.

Last week, our School Council hosted a wonderful Family Movie Night, bringing together students, families, and staff for an evening of fun and connection. It was great to see our community gather in such a relaxed and joyful setting, sharing popcorn, laughter, and time together. Events like these help strengthen the sense of belonging that makes EPK such a special place. Thank you to our School Council and volunteers who helped organize this memorable evening for our families
