Brrrrr⛄ Hopefully everyone has finally got themselves dug out of their driveways in time for more snow to come tomorrow! Just a reminder, third quarter conferences will begin next week. Signup links will all be shared with you via ClassDojo or through email by tomorrow. If you need assistance signing up, please email your child's teacher. As always, please be sure to review all the information below and feel free to reach out with any questions that you may have.

January Perfect Atten-DANCE

Mr. Whitaker was happy to celebrate and have a perfect atten-DANCE today with three different groups of kids! Thank you to the 244 students that did not miss any school for the entire month of January! Very impressive and not easy to do! Your commitment to us and your value for education is what makes MHE the place to be!

NWLSD Secondary Math Parent Night RESCHEDULED

Hello families of students in grades 5-11, due to last week and today's snow fall, the secondary math curriculum adoption night has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 17th.

The in-person event will be held in the library at CHS from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

The virtual event will be held from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Families can log on using the following link: meet.google.com/epg-qqyq-kwd

5th Fundraiser - Little Caesars Pizza Kits

Little Caesars Pizza Kits are back! These amazing pizza and cheese bread kits taste great and are perfect to have on hand. All proceeds will go towards the 5th grade's fun and festivities at the end of the school year.

Building Information

Student arrival is daily between 8:30am and 8:50am. MHE staff supervision is not available before 8:30am. Students that arrive after 8:50am will be marked tardy.
Y's Kids morning and after school care is available through Clippard YMCA (513-923-4466)
Please refrain from dropping your student off in the main parking lot between 8:30am - 8:50am. This lot is for bus drop off only.
If you plan on having your child eat school breakfast, please try to have them here closer to 8:30am. All students that arrive at school after 9am will be asked to get their breakfast from the cafeteria and report to their class to eat. TEACHING WILL BEGIN AT 9AM!
Please refrain from picking your student up in the main office between 3:25-3:45. Parent pick up is at the back gate using your car tag. The front lot is for bus loading only.
If you are in need of a car tag, please see Mr. Smith in the main office. If you do not have a car tag, you must have a photo ID AND be listed in the student's file as authorized to pick up.
Breakfast and Lunch are both FREE this year! If however, you would like to have your child(ren)’s school instructional fees waived, you must submit an Educational Benefits or Household Income survey to determine fee waiver eligibility. You may complete the survey through the Infinite Campus parent portal.
Additional items can be purchased using funds that have been added to student accounts. (Snack/chip bags and ice cream are $1.25, cookies are $.90 or $.70, and fruit-roll-ups are $.75) CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED IN THE CAFETERIA. Funds are ONLY to be used by the student whom the account belongs to. Students are not permitted to purchase items for classmates.
Please do not send your child in the morning with coffee drinks or breakfast items from fast food locations (McDonalds, Starbucks, Dunkin, etc.). Students do need to finish these things before coming into school and should not be bringing them to class or the cafeteria.
Please do not drop fast food off to students in the middle of the day. In the event of this, your child will be asked to eat in the office instead of with their class in the cafeteria.
