Family Connections

This month we are focusing on family engagement and gratitude. Students will be learning about kindness. Families and staff will have opportunities to build connections and be engaged with our greatest treasure, our students.

Join us on 11/14 for Family Fun Night, 5:30-6:30 pm at Pinon Mesa Middle School. We will have games, giveaways and crafts. All district families are welcome!

Join us on Tuesday the 21st from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm for a winter clothing give away. Talk to your school counselor to make an appointment to come shop the closet. There are a wide range of sizes and lots of jackets, sweaters and sweatshirts to keep you warm all winter long.

This Monday is World Kindness Day! You can help us "shine a light on kindness" by sending your students to school wearing their brightest, most sparkly colors on Monday.

You can also help us make kindness the norm by participating in random acts of kindness around the community. Need help with ideas? Choose some off of the calendar below.

We will be holding a public hearing on November 14th as part of the process for renewing our waiver to house Eagle Summit on the Chaparral campus and to comingle 6th-12 grades. Please join us at the November 14th board meeting if you would like to give input.
