February 2024
Principal's Message
Dear GTMS Families,
As we embrace the month of February, it brings with it the opportunity to celebrate Black History Month. While we take this time to recognize and honor the rich contributions of African Americans, let us also remember that appreciation for diversity and inclusion should be a year-round commitment.
In our ongoing pursuit of academic excellence, it's crucial for us to check in on the progress of our students. February marks an ideal time to reflect on their achievements and address any challenges they may be facing. We encourage open communication between parents, teachers, and students to ensure a supportive learning environment.
To facilitate these conversations, parent-teacher conferences are available. This is an excellent opportunity for you to discuss your child's academic journey, set goals, and collaborate with teachers to foster a positive and successful educational experience.
Your engagement is invaluable to the success of our students, and we appreciate your continued partnership in nurturing a thriving academic community.
Wishing you a wonderful February ahead.
Paula Junker
