๐Ÿ“š Help Us Create a โ€œBlind Date with a Bookโ€ for Staff Appreciation Week! ๐Ÿ“š
As part of our Staff Appreciation Week, weโ€™re setting up a Blind Date with a Book for our amazing staff!

Weโ€™re asking families to donate gently used books that teachers might enjoy reading.

The books will be wrapped so the cover is a surprise, and weโ€™ll add a few fun clue words on the outside to help teachers pick their โ€œdate.โ€

What to donate:

๐Ÿ“– Pre-loved, gently used, good condition adult books (fiction or nonfiction)

๐Ÿ“– Something you loved and want to pass along

๐Ÿ“Drop off donations at the school office by April 17th.

Thank you for helping us make Staff Appreciation Week special for the people who do so much for our kids every day!

Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR)

All 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students will be taking the IAR Reading and Math tests.

IAR Testing Days:

Reading: Wed 3/18, Thu 3/19 (Before Spring Break)

Math: Tue 4/7, Wed. 4/8, Thu 4/9 (After Spring Break)

Please encourage your child to simply, "do your best". We as a school team encourage effort, positive mindset, and a "show what you know" mentality. Our younger students, K-2nd grade, will be given motivating, positive, and encouraging stickers to hand out to the 3rd-5th Graders as a simple way to celebrate everyone's hard work and learning.
