Good morning WBS families,
I hope that this message finds you doing well and enjoying the first day of Fall. If you are a Philadelphia Eagles fan, you probably woke up with a big smile on your face. What a game that was!
We continue to be off to a great start here at WBS this school year. Construction is moving along as scheduled, and we are excited to see some major work being done out back regarding our new addition. Inside the school, we are currently renovating five classrooms with new floors, ceilings, windows, walls, instructional areas, and cabinetry. We are on track to have those five classrooms ready for students early in January 2026. I will continue to keep you posted and will begin to share pictures in our next newsletter. Thanks to everyone for their continued flexibility as we navigate our limited parking.

In closing, please sign up for a parent/teacher conference. They will be held during the week of 11/24. Classroom teachers sent out sign-ups for you to select a time that works with your schedule. Conferences can be in-person, on Microsoft Teams or via a phone call. This is a wonderful way for you to connect with your child's teacher and get an update on their school progress. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have questions. We look forward to seeing you.

Broad Street Italian Cuisine and Pizzeria FUNDRAISER
Broad Street Italian Cuisine and Pizzeria is hosting a fundraising night for West Broad Street Elementary. On Tuesday, Sept. 23, a portion of your dining, takeout, or delivery order will be donated to the school. We use these funds to support field trips and school assemblies. Be sure to mention West Broad Street Elementary when you place your order so the school gets credit .
