Spring is in the air, and with it comes a much-needed opportunity to rest, recharge, and reconnect!

Spring Break will be from March 31 through April 4, and I hope every one of our students and families is able to take this time to pause and enjoy some well-deserved rest. Whether you’re traveling, spending time with loved ones, or simply relaxing at home—make it count.

School resumes on Monday, April 7, ready to finish the year strong. And with that fresh start comes an important stretch—State Testing will begin on Wednesday, April 9. We know how hard our students have worked this year, and we believe in their ability to rise to the occasion. We'll share more details very soon about state testing and the administration of the SAT, so please keep an eye out.

Let’s use this break to refuel our minds and spirits—so we can return focused, confident, and ready to shine. You’ve got this. And we’ve got you.

Go Lions!

Students of the Week: Celebrating P.R.I.D.E. Students of the Week: Celebrating P.R.I.D.E.

Congratulations to our GLHS Students of the Week for the week of March 17! These outstanding students were recognized for exemplifying our core values of Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, and Excellence (P.R.I.D.E.) in all they do.

This recognition is part of the A Student Above initiative, proudly sponsored by Jersey Mike’s. Each student has demonstrated what it truly means to live out P.R.I.D.E., making a positive impact on our school community.

Way to go Lani Addo, David Doumbouya, Xavier Greene, Daniella Smith, and Ava Taylor.

Keep shining!

Lion's Thrift Lion's Thrift

As an event this spring, GLHS Student Council is organizing Lion's Thrift which is a free clothing swap event for students and staff at the high school. We will be holding the event during lunch and homeroom periods today, March 24 in the Main Gym.

ASVAB Test ASVAB Test

We are pleased to offer the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) at Gahanna Lincoln High School on Wednesday, March 26. While the ASVAB is commonly associated with the military, it serves as a valuable tool for students to explore career interests across various fields—not just the armed forces.

Taking the ASVAB does not require any commitment to military service. At GLHS, we utilize this assessment to help 10th, 11th, and 12th graders gain insight into their strengths and potential career paths.

If you are interested in having your student take the ASVAB, please click here to sign up.

Important Note: If your student previously signed up for our initial test, there is no need to register again. We will use the original sign-up for this testing date.

Please contact the school counseling office at (614) 478-5508 if you have any questions.

Girls' Volleyball Informational Meeting Girls' Volleyball Informational Meeting

All those interested in participating in the girls' volleyball program in the fall should attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 26th, at 6:30 pm in the high school library. We will be discussing our spring/summer pre-season plans and introduction of coaches, and our boosters will be sharing information that would be relevant for parents to know.
