WP Weekly 2/2/26
Version 1

Dear WP Families,
We hope you had a wonderful weekend!
January was a quiet whirlwind, with snow days and winter weather making it hard to keep track of what day it was! As we move into February, we’re excited to get back into a routine and dive into a month full of learning, reading, and community-building.
As we begin the month together, our school is buzzing with excitement around our One School, One Book experience with James and the Giant Peach, bringing our community together through a shared story and lots of imaginative conversations. While you've been reading and following along as a family at home, the giant peach has been rolling from class to class at school - check it out below!
With so much happening both before and after Winter Recess, February promises to be a busy and rewarding month. Thank you for your continued partnership as we learn, read, and grow together.
We are looking forward to another wonderful week at Winchester Potters.
Best,
Jaimie Knight

Volunteers are essential to the success of the West Seneca Central School District. You can help our mission by becoming a volunteer today.
To become a volunteer, you must complete the online volunteer orientations.
The training is completed once. If your family moves from one school to another within the school district, you do not need to re-train.
Birthday/Classroom Celebration Treat Reminder
Dear Families,
We love celebrating student birthdays and special occasions! This is a kind reminder that any birthday or celebration treats brought to school must be store-bought and packaged with ingredient labels clearly visible.
Unfortunately, we are unable to distribute homemade treats. Thank you so much for your understanding and support. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
Winter Clubs and Activities 😀
Winter clubs and activities are underway! 😊
- All registration links have been turned off at this time.
- If you have questions or concerns about upcoming clubs/activities, please reach out to the listed advisor directly.
Please Note:
- The club flyer is posted below to remind parents of the dates, times, etc. of each club.
- At this time, club advisors have reached out to guardians to let them know if their child is on the attendance list (based on maximum capacity). Unfortunately, due to supervision and spacing, we were not able to accommodate every registration request that came in virtually.
- All clubs and activities, either before or after school, are parent transportation only.
- We will have a few additional spring clubs that will run later in the year as well. Stay tuned!
We are excited for the many continued offerings this school year and look forward to seeing students explore new interests, develop skills, and have fun with their peers!
