Ready or Not...

THANK YOU to everyone who registered their student online and returned your packet.

If you haven't done your online registration, it is imperative that you get online and get it done ASAP. If you need help, we are here for you. Stop by or call to make an appointment and we will help you! Students that are not enrolled cannot attend school. Let us know how we can help you.

You should receive a packet in the mail with a little paperwork to turn in. Please drop it by the school office ASAP so we can ensure your student is registered and has what they need for the first day of school. If you have questions, please call Mrs. Chris at 833-662-6228 ext. 4103 and she will get back with you when she is in the office. If you stop by and no one is in the office, but the lobby is open, you can slide the packet through the window.

Construction is almost done so we will be spending a lot of time in the intermediate end unpacking and getting ready for students.

The first day of school is Tuesday, August 19th. Doors open at 7:30 am. Parents will be allowed to walk their student in on the first two days of school. More details about that will be available at Meet & Greet.

Our building theme this year is Growing Champions: Wildcats Set the Standard

I want to give a huge THANK YOU to our custodial and maintenance crews for all of their hard work this summer. Often what they do goes unnoticed, but it is so important. I appreciate the dedication each of them have shown to helping JBE become a great place to work and learn!

I hope you are well! We miss seeing you at JBE! Enjoy what is left of you summer!

Teacher Meet & Greet

***Please keep in mind that due to construction, we may have to be flexible with our format. As of now, these are our plans, but they are subject to change - not the date or time, but possibly the location of meeting your teacher meaning we may use the gym, cafeteria, unused classrooms, etc. if the intermediate rooms are not ready for visitors yet due to construction.***

Make plans to join us for Teacher Meet & Greet on August 14th. If the time that coordinates with your name does not work, please call the office and let us know which time does.

This is an open house format. You can stop in meet your teacher, drop off supplies and visit the gym.

Make plans to stop by the gym. PTO will have information there, Love Out Loud will be here with bounce houses, several community resources will have tables set up.

School Supply Lists

We know it is SUMMER and some of you do not want to think about school supplies, however, we wanted to share this early so the bargain shoppers out there can start watching for deals.

We had some amazing sponsors who donated money to purchase many of the supplies needed for our Jonesburg Elementary students. THANK YOU TO Independent Stave Company - New Florence Mill * Jonesburg State Bank * OPAA! * Peoples Savings Bank * Wolf Creek * Nordwald Auction * Phynx Fiber * MCR2 * Bank of Missouri*Tinsley Amusement

Construction is Underway

The original end of JBE is getting a face lift this summer. It will require a lot of work from our educators right before school because the timeline is tight. We may even need a few volunteers to help us get moved back in and settled. But the wait will be worth it.

Exciting things are happening at JBE while you are enjoying your summer!

Special shoutout to Mrs. Janet for working around the crews and to Mr. Ned for managing the project and keeping it on track!
