Pirate Post-Staff 5/3/2026

I just want to start out by saying at how grateful I am for each and every student here at East Minico. As I glance across the front lawn out the window in my office, I notice an occasional bee, butterfly and hundreds of small blooms. This time of the year is so special to me. Spring in nature demonstrates the beauty and speed that growth occurs. I am excited to see this same pattern within the school. This year has gone by so incredibly fast! Yet I am just so humbled by how this year has gone. In reflecting over my administrative tenure, this year has been a tremendous foundation in terms of the bigger picture of why I went into education in the first place. Students have, and will continue to grow. It's not just about the test scores. I observe growth in citizenship, the ability to problem solve and to begin thinking longer term beyond middle school and high school. This is why we are here! I am so grateful for our terrific community! I am blessed to live in such a great, caring community and to share every day with great parents, staff, students and community members. Education works here simply because we all work together as a unified team!!!!!!
