Congratulations Congratulations

Congratulations to Mrs. Scotia Salcedo our TOMS Staff Member of the Week! She was nominated by Mrs. Laura Llistro.

Mrs. Salcedo is an RBHS Counselor at TOMS. This is her 3rd year working at TOMS.

My favorite memory of middle school was our 8th grade trip to Washington D.C.

My advice to my Middle School self would be... Surround yourself with people who bring the best out of you.

Congratulations to Band Director Mr. Jose Pope and the TOMS Wind Ensemble for receiving a Superior With Distinction at the 2025 Concert Performance Assessment! This is the highest possible rating, and it's the second time our Wind Ensemble has earned this prestigious honor.

A HUGE thank you to Principal Lindsay Lennon for coming to support us, and to Mr. Walt Nichols for driving us!

We're incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful for all the support! #TOMS #WindEnsemble #SuperiorWithDistinction #ProudMoment #MusicExcellence

HC SWCD Essay Contest Winners!

The Horry County Soil and Water Conservation District (HC SWCD) recently held an essay contest for students in the 2024-2025 school year, centered around the theme "Wetlands are Wonderful." This contest allowed students to explore the vital role wetlands play in our environment and the importance of their conservation.

We are thrilled to announce our talented 7th grade winners from TOMS:

1st Place – Olivia Zheng

2nd Place – Eleanor Oestreich

3rd Place – Giana LaRocca

Congratulations to all our winners for their outstanding work! Let's continue to inspire the next generation to care for our planet and protect our precious natural resources.

We are thrilled to announce that TOMS 8th grade student Anabella Luciano is the winner of this year’s National History Day (NHD) t-shirt design competition! Her clever design perfectly captures this year’s theme, "Rights and Responsibilities in History."

This week, Principal Lennon had the pleasure of congratulating Anabella in person for her incredible work!

Last night, TOMS staff members had the pleasure of attending a special evening at CFHS to celebrate Autism Awareness. Two of our former students Jack and Caleb, had the opportunity to run the 50-meter dash during the home track meet. Thank you CFHS - it was wonderful to be able to cheer them on and beautiful moment to remember! #AutismAwareness #CommunitySupport #SpecialMoments #CFHS

Congratulations to Our 9 Kindness Bingo Winners!

A huge thank you to all the students who participated in Kindness Bingo and helped spread kindness throughout our school. Your positive energy makes a difference!

Today, we celebrated by randomly drawing three winners from each grade for exciting gift cards, generously donated by our amazing TOMS PTO! Let's keep the kindness going!

Looking to spend your tax refund dollars wisely this year? We have an idea!

The Ten Oaks Counseling Team has a Care Closet on campus to support students in need, and we're reaching out for your help!

We are currently in need of items to replenish our closet, and we have also run out of clear backpacks. Thanks to generous donations, we've already distributed over 500 replacement backpacks, but we're now out and need your support!

Check out the attached flyer for a list of items we could use. Any donations you make will go directly toward helping students who need it most. Donations can be dropped off at the front office.

Thank you for considering supporting our school and making a difference in the lives of our students!

Mr. Clifford Jones, the new Superintendent of Horry County Schools, has scheduled “Coffee with Cliff” events for the remainder of the school year. As a newcomer to Horry County Schools, Mr. Jones wants to use these events to listen to the community's ideas and concerns and to share news about the district with community members. These events are just one of many ways Mr. Jones hopes to connect with the community and listen, share, and learn to make Horry County Schools an even better district. #HCSBestDaysAhead

“Coffee with Cliff” consists of informal listening sessions and discussions. Everyone is invited, and no registration or appointment is needed. Just show up, enjoy a cup of coffee, and chat
