Kindergarten - Charlotte How
1st Grade - Bo Johnson
2nd Grade - Magnolia Ellis
I am proud to nominate this student for Ace of the Month because she consistently demonstrate what it means to be a hardworking, kind, and responsible student. She comes to class ready to learn and always gives her very best effort, even when the work is challenging. She listens carefully, follows directions, and takes pride in doing her work well. She is a wonderful role model for her classmates. She treats others with kindness and respect, is willing to help those around her, and contributes to making our classroom a positive and welcoming place. Her dedication, positive attitude, strong character, and commitment to doing her best makes her truly deserving of this recognition. She is an “ace” in every sense, and I am so proud to have her as a part of our classroom!
Third Grade - Jhett Jones
This student is ALWAYS doing what he is supposed to be doing! When the nomination forms were sent out, Jhett was the first one to pop into my brain, and I see about 250 students in the whole school. He is such a good example for his classmates that he may not quite understand yet. He raises his hand, he is enthusiastic and a very active participant constantly. I am always happy to see Jhett's smiling face!
Fourth Grade - Abdullah Riji
This student is a joy to have in the classroom. He works hard on each assignment, pays attention in large group teaching, and participates in whole group discussions and lessons. This student is kind to everyone - I have not yet heard about any situation in which Abdullah was rude or unkind to a grownup or another student. He does his best work each day and shows genuine interest in learning.
Fifth Grade - Jackson Dunor
This person is extremely kind and empathetic. So much so, he escorted a fellow soccer player to apologize to another learner who was hit in the head with the soccer ball. This student said, "Boy, you need to go say sorry!" he then took it upon himself to ensure that happened. I haven't witnessed that before. In class he is kind, quiet, and engaged in learning. He always tries his best and ALWAYS has a smile on his face that lights up the room.
