News & Information for Tiger Families
Letter from the Principal
Dear Tiger Families,
It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached the end of the 1st Quarter! Time is flying, and our students continue to make us proud every step of the way. Speaking of pride, we are cheering on Jay and Aaliyah as they head to State for Cross Country this Saturday in DuQuoin. Their hard work and dedication have brought them this far, and we couldn’t be more excited for them. Go Tigers!
We have a wonderfully full week coming up with lots of opportunities for faith, celebration, and community!
Sunday, October 19 – Youth Mass
We are still in need of volunteers to help make this Mass special. If you are able to lend a hand, please sign up here:

Monday–Thursday – Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week kicks off on Monday! Students should have brought home a packet outlining each day’s dress theme. These are also shared in Tiger News and will be posted nightly on Facebook so everyone can join in the fun.
Wednesday, October 22 – Living Rosary
In honor of the Month of the Rosary, our entire student body will come together to pray a Living Rosary. It’s always a beautiful and reverent experience for our school family.
Thursday, October 23 – Pumpkin Patch & Conferences
Students will enjoy the annual Perpetual Help Pumpkin Patch during the school day—a favorite fall tradition! That evening, Parent-Teacher Conferences begin and will continue into Friday. We value the partnership between home and school and look forward to connecting with you.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the Walk for the Poor. Your generosity truly makes a difference—every single dollar helps those most in need, and we are grateful for your support.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend as we wrap up the quarter. We’re excited for all the joy, faith, and festivities next week will bring!
As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership. TIGERS LEAD THE WAY!
Sincerely,
Nicole Green
Principal

Double Your Impact!
All donations made this year to the St. Teresa’s Endowment Fund will be matched dollar for dollar by a generous donor. That means your gift goes twice as far in supporting our students, teachers, and programs.
Give generously. Give graciously. Help us reach our goal of $30,000!
Together, we can make a lasting difference.
Once a month at the 11:00 AM Mass at St. Teresa Church, we celebrate our Children and Youth Mass.
During this special liturgy, the young members of our parish are invited to take part in the ministries of the Mass—serving as greeters, ushers, readers, and gift bearers.
Our next Children and Youth Mass will be held on Sunday, October 19th at 11:00 AM. We encourage all families to mark their calendars and join us for this joyful celebration.
If your child would like to participate, please use the sign-up links below to select a ministry role.
We look forward to seeing our youth involved and growing in faith!
