26-27 Course Registration

The counselors will meet with the students in their alpha breakdown to discuss gains made toward graduation goals devised in the fall semester. In addition, students will select their courses, with the guidance of their counselor, for the 26-27 school year.

It is imperative that students make good choices because the master schedule is developed based on their selections.

The resources below are designed to help you and your child make an informed and collaborative decision when choosing courses for next year.

At Taft, the majority of our students will graduate with 28-32 credits. Our counselors meet with our students for individual planning in the fall and the spring semesters.

On January 15th & 16th, our Taft counselors will be working with our feeder schools to help our future Raiders choose their courses for 26-27. We will be using the planning guide attached.

Taft counselors helped approximately 620 middle school students choose their courses for the 26-27 school year!

Junior Individual Planning & Course Registrations

Taft & Comm Arts counselors helped 638 juniors choose their courses for the 26-27 school year.

We are meeting with our rising juniors this week ( Feb. 9-13).

We are meeting with our rising sophomores the week of February 17-20.
