A Message from the Principal
Dear Ford Families,
What an amazing week it has been at Ford Elementary! I am so proud of our students, staff, and community. This week, our 3rd and 4th grade students took their STAAR Reading test, and we are incredibly proud of the effort and perseverance they showed. We also had the honor of welcoming our Superintendent, Dr. Vinson, who recognized members of our Ford family with the Texas Standard Awards—including one of our students, a teacher, and a paraprofessional. What a special moment for our campus! In addition, we are so grateful for our Ford PTO, who provided lunch for our staff, as well as members of the Ford family who visited our campus, toured the school, and generously provided lunch for our teachers and staff. Your support and appreciation mean so much to our team. It truly has been a great week at Ford! As we look ahead, our students will take the Math STAAR test next week, and we are excited to see all of their hard work shine. They have worked incredibly hard all year long, and we know they are ready. Thank you for your continued support—together, we are making great things happen at Ford! Viviana Harris, Principal

Thank you to our PTO
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our amazing PTO for their continued support of our school! This week, they generously reimbursed the school for STAAR snacks and provided lunch for our teachers and staff during testing-gestures that are truly appreciated as we support our students through this important time.
We are also excited to share that PTO purchased a new rideable dragon for our campus! While we experienced a few challenges with it upon delivery, we are happy to report that it is now up and running.
A special thank you to our counselor, Sarah Arias, for helping get our dragon ready for action!
We are so grateful for our PTO and all they do to support our students, staff, and school community.
