Sunnyvale ISD E-News

Sunnyvale High School juniors and seniors took an exciting step toward their futures at this year’s Career Fair. Students had the opportunity to hear from guest speakers representing organizations such as Chick-fil-A, Dallas Orthopedic, and D CEO Magazine. In addition to learning about a variety of industries—including aviation, medicine, journalism, real estate, veterinary science, medicine and fire and rescue—students engaged directly with professionals to gain valuable insight into possible career paths.

A highlight of the day was the mock interview session, where students practiced their interviewing skills, received resume feedback, and learned essential professional tips from industry experts. Opportunities like these help our students build confidence and prepare for the next chapter of their academic and professional journeys.

SIS 5th graders have been incubating eggs and experimenting with dry hatching versus normal incubation. As the chickens have started hatching, students will compare hatching ratios of both types of incubation and share what they learned through the process.
