DONATIONS NEEDED: Care Package Items for Deployed Service Members
WE ARE EXTENDING THE DONATION DROPOFF!! PLEASE DROP OFF ANY DONATIONS NO LATER THAN MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND!
Our Community Service Club is putting together care packages for deployed service members! These packages are a small way to show our support, brighten someone’s day, and remind them that they are thought of back home. Every donation helps us send a little comfort, encouragement, and connection from our UPS community to those serving away from home.
We will have a donation box set up by the library doors. Donations can be dropped off in the Main Office during school hours. Thank you for helping our students show our service members that they are remembered and appreciated! If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Leady via email mleady@upsmailbox.net.

UPS Vacation Planner
We know that planning family vacations and appointments can be challenging around the school calendar. Our 2026–2027 Vacation Planner highlights opportunities to plan time away during school breaks and long weekends, helping families reduce unnecessary absences whenever possible.
Please take a look at the attached planner below as you make plans for the upcoming school year. Please note that dates are subject to change due to weather-related or other emergency school closings. Thank you for helping us support strong attendance and student success!
Make it a habit to check and verify/update your PickUp Patrol account regularly!
IMPORTANT INFO: PickUp Patrol Accounts (ALL FAMILIES must have an account)
Our school uses PickUp Patrol to help us track attendance/absences as well as dismissal information (early leaves, afterschool clubs/activities, etc.). PickUp Patrol provides you with a convenient way to make changes to your child’s dismissal plans and helps ensure that our students are accurately dismissed each day. PickUp Patrol also makes it easy to report your child's absence! Notes, emails, or phone calls are not accepted for changes, except in emergencies.

COMMUNITY NEWS & EVENTS
We strongly encourage all families to review the updated Parent/Student Handbook. In particular, please take the time to carefully review the updated Attendance and Conduct/Discipline Policies. There are important changes and clarifications regarding our attendance procedures, and it is essential that families understand these expectations as we begin the new school year.
The handbook also contains other important information families should be familiar with, including our dress code, school procedures, expectations for student conduct, and other policies and guidelines that help answer many of the questions that arise throughout the school year.
