Tynes Weekly Updates

Greetings from Dr. Borgese
Leveling Up Together – Thank You, Tynes Community!
Tiger Families,
What an incredible day at our Jogathon! Our Tigers—from preschool through 6th grade—truly leveled up as they ran their hearts out through bubbles, powered through our “Power-Up” tents, and enjoyed the energy of Super Mario-themed fun and a lively, upbeat playlist. The smiles, laughter, and school spirit were on full display from start to finish.
A huge thank you to our amazing PTA and dedicated staff for planning and executing such a memorable event. From the creative decorations to the smooth organization, it was a team effort that made the day special for every student. And of course, our runners were well taken care of with donated water and ice-cold Otter Pops after their laps—much deserved!
We are proud to share that our community didn’t just meet the goal—we surpassed it! Together, we raised over $26,000, leveling past our $22,000 goal. Because of that, Dr. Borgese and Mrs. Miller suited up as Mario and Luigi, and Miss Valerie joined the fun as Donkey Kong during several sessions—a promise well kept!
Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser. Your generosity and enthusiasm continue to make Tynes such a special place. We truly leveled up—together. 🎮🐯
PS - Look for pics and videos to be posted on our Tynes Instagram and Facebook pages!
Warmly,
Dr. Borgese
