Pursuing the Joy of Salvation, Knowledge, Leadership, and Community
What a great week!
This season of gratitude reminds me of how blessed we are to have such a dedicated community. From our volunteer firefighters sharing vital safety lessons to our music students preparing for their holiday performances, every member of our KAES family contributes to our shared success. Together, we're creating an environment where learning thrives and faith grows stronger.
Let's continue supporting one another as we move into the holiday season. Your partnership in our mission makes all the difference.
Experiencing Ellis Island: 8th Grade Living History
This immersive learning experience culminated in students taking the American citizenship pledge, giving them a profound understanding of our nation's immigration history. Special thanks to our library staff and volunteers who helped make this simulation a powerful educational moment.
Winter Music Program: First to Herald the Season
Please refer to the detailed infographic below for specific information about attire, call times, and performance requirements. Our music department has been working diligently to prepare a memorable celebration of the season through song and instrument.
Please take special note of the dates. Nov. 18 & Nov 21
AcroFest Soars at KAES
Democracy in Action: Third and Fourth Grade Election
Each class got to write what they thought would improve and make KAES a better place for all students. Ideas like filtering water, free uniform days, free meals, extra recess, and many other ideas. Each student presented their speech to the class and ballots were handed out. Congratulations are in order to Brody, Savanna, and Myles for being elected as their class representatives.
KAES Rooted Bible Challenge
Parents, please continue supporting your children's biblical learning journey at home. This challenge isn't just about memorization – it's about rooting our students in God's Word and helping them apply these truths to their daily lives. Study materials and verse assignments have been sent home with each student.
Fire Safety with Keene Fire Department
We encourage all families to follow up on this visit by developing their own home emergency plans. Remember: having a plan and practicing it regularly could make all the difference in an emergency situation.
