We are looking forward to welcoming our parents to Parent-Teacher Conference Week: Monday, October 5th, through Friday, October 9th! Please remember, all students will be dismissed at noon during Conference Week.

One of the many reasons Catholic education is so effective is because of the outstanding support of parents and the dedication of our teachers. Together, our main focus is to help our students reach their full spiritual and academic potential. We look forward to this opportunity to meet and review your student's first Progress Report of the school year.

Families will receive an email early next week with information and instructions for selecting a conference appointment time. Please be on the lookout for the email and be sure to reserve your preferred time once sign-ups become available. Thank you!

Student Insurance: Please be aware that a $15.00 Student Insurance fee per student has been charged to your FACTS Incidental Billing account. This fee covers school-provided insurance during the school day, field trips, athletics, and other school-related activities. Please note that this charge is due on October 5, 2026. If you do not have Auto Pay turned on or have an issue with your financial account, FACTS will not try again to take this payment. You must go into your Family Portal and make a manual payment or call the FACTS Parent Helpline at 1-866-441-4637.

New Family Development Fee: We want to remind you of the New Family Development Fee for families who are new to St. Anthony of Padua School during the 2026–2027 school year. This is a one-time family fee of $525.00, which will be billed to your Incidental Billing account on October 15, 2026, and will be due by December 1, 2026. This fee helps support vital initiatives such as advertising, marketing, communications, and the enhancement of our academic programs and facilities. It ensures we continue to provide a rigorous, high-quality education in a state-of-the-art environment.

Families may choose to:

· Make a one-time payment through the Family Portal, or

· Submit smaller payments through your Family Portal, or

· If you have Auto Pay turned on, then the payment will be taken on December1.

Please Note: It is easy to confuse this with the $500 annual enrollment fee that is charged to all students each year. However, the New Family Development Fee is separate and has not yet been charged to any accounts for this school year. If you require an extension or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Business Office at 702-914-2175. We are happy to work with you. In remembrance of October 1 and in honor of the strength, compassion, and unity of our Las Vegas community, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School will hold a Vegas Strong–themed dress day. Students are invited to wear Vegas Strong attire or Las Vegas-themed colors and donate $5 to participate.

This year, our Vegas Strong Day will also provide a special opportunity to put our faith into action! We are partnering with Cross Catholic Outreach to raise funds in support of a meaningful community service project in which our students will participate this February. Together, our Saints can honor our community while helping make a difference for others.

• Student of the Month Ceremony & Decade of the Rosary: 8:05 AM.
• Dismissal will be at 11 AM today - Archdiocesan Inservice for all elementary schools this afternoon.

Please remember, next week (October 5-9) is Parent/Teacher Conference Week - with dismissal at noon each day. Aftercare will be available on Monday, October 5th, through Wednesday, October 7th.

Now that the weather is a bit cooler, Mass uniforms are back in effect! Please make sure your child comes to school dressed in their Mass uniform on all Mass days (see the Parent/Student Handbook for details). Thank you for helping our Saints look their best as we come together to celebrate Mass!

The Life Skill of the week is “Effort: to try your hardest.” Effort looks like:

Congratulations to all who were recognized for completing their Foundational Faith Formation Certification during our recent Archdiocesan Conference! This important accomplishment is a meaningful step - this commitment to continued learning and professional growth reflects their dedication to the mission of our Catholic schools and, most importantly, to nurturing the faith of our students. We are grateful for their commitment and celebrate this accomplishment with each of them!

Congratulations to our newly elected Student Council officers who were officially commissioned before our School Mass! These students have been chosen to represent their fellow Saints and serve our school community throughout the year. Our Saints celebrated the completion of Terra Nova Testing with a school-wide ice cream party! While only certain grade levels participated in testing, every student was invited to join in the fun and enjoy a sweet treat. We are so proud of our students for their hard work and enjoyed celebrating together as one Saints community. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this special treat possible!
