AVA Family Update
November 8, 2024
Good afternoon AVA Students and Families,
We have no school Monday and the schedule is included below.
Progress reports for students were posted on Wednesday. If you haven't accessed it, please do so. If you need help, let me know. For most classes, there is lots of time to improve. That is not the case for one trimester classes though, as we only have about a month before trimester one grades close. Students should be mindful of this.
The usual guidance and community updates are below.
Thank you for your time.

Guidance Updates
ACT/SAT Registration
Both exams only have one more administration in December for the calendar year. Seniors thinking about applying to college for next Fall should strongly consider taking one next month. College-bound juniors should also start registering for a spring test soon, especially in case seats fill up faster than anticipated.
SAT: Click HERE to register. Click HERE to find and view seat availability for an SAT test location.
ACT: Click HERE for more information and to register. Click HERE to find an ACT test location.
ASVAB Test on AHS Campus
We will be hosting an ASVAB test administration next month on Friday, Dec. 6th, so students interested in the military should register HERE as soon as possible. We will also be hosting one more ASVAB administration in March 2025; sign-up is in the same link above.
