Music in March
This month, the whole school participated in March Music Madness! The theme this year was Originals vs Covers. Students enjoyed a total of 16 songs and videos, voting weekly to narrow down the choices until we finally crowned a winner. Teachers also joined in on the fun, participating in their own special vote.
Teacher's Winner: "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman
Student's Winner: "Beautiful Things" by Benson Boone
As we move into April, the music room will be focused on preparing for our upcoming spring concerts. I am excited to showcase the hard work and creativity of our students!
Additional Information
I encourage families to continue supporting their children’s musical journeys at home. Listening to the concert pieces together can be a great way to build excitement for the performances. I am grateful for your ongoing support in fostering a love for music and learning in our students.
