Our 2025 summer camps are open for registration! Spend the summer doing fun and exciting things like completing an obstacle course adventure or enjoying a themed week of Kids' U. Join us for a Cybersecurity & Fraud Awareness Workshop! Information Security Officer Hance Patrick will show you the techniques that scammers use in today's web environment and help you identify and prevent loss from an online scam.

This in person workshop will take place in Chappell Hall, March 13, form 12:30- 2:30 p.m.

Bring your guitar and engage in an intensive songwriting workshop with singer-songwriter Sally Jaye. Spend the week of March 24-26 collaborating with other musicians. Finish off the workshop with a performance at Blackbird Coffee.

Continuing & Professional Education is proud to announce we will soon offer safety classes for both adults and children! Classes include child safety courses such as Home Alone Safety Measures and I Am My Sibling’s Keeper. Our adult offering with be Adult Heart saver First Aid-CPR-AED.

The past four weeks we have had the pleasure of hosting a Master the Art of Grant Writing workshop for community members. This 4-session professional development series was designed for nonprofit professionals, educators, and community leaders seeking to enhance their grant writing skills. Led by GCSU professors Dr. Carrie Cook and Dr. Min Kim, participants learned valuable lessons like the foundations of grant writing, crafting proposals, budget development and grant management.

We are so thankful to all of the community members that participated and the help of Dr. Cook and Dr. Kim with facilitating this workshop!
