The Countdown is On!

The Tri-Town Family 5K is Sunday, November 12th, and we want to make sure you are ready for the big day!

We are very proud to present our 12th annual event, and we are very grateful for the support and participation that has gone into making this possible. There are many people running or walking with us for the first time. Whether it's your first or your twelfth, here's what you need to know.

Tri-Town Family 5K

Parking:

The event will take place on the Minot Community Trails, located behind Minot Consolidated School. Please plan to park at the school and give yourself some time to walk down to the starting line and pick up your bib.

Race Day Schedule

8:45-9:30 Registration will open. We will have separate tables for pre-registered participants and new registrations. Please be patient with our volunteers. We appreciate them! It is a huge help if all participants are registered in advance.

9:40 Kids Fun Run: Middle school students will lead the younger kids in a 0.25 mile run around the ball fields and through the finish line. You do not need to pre-register for this event.

9:50 Please gather at the line for the National Anthem and the start of the 5K

10:00 The 5K begins!

11:00 Raffle and Awards

Course

This is a fairly challenging course with rolling hills throughout. Consider taking the first hill slow and easy. It is also important to note that this is a loop course and you will run a section of the course twice.

Run Shirts

We will have t-shirts available for $10 each. They are very comfortable cotton shirts, and we would love to sell out of them. You are welcome to pay with cash, check or Venmo.

Volunteers

We are seeking several volunteers to help monitor the course and work at the water table. If you have a friend or family member coming to the event, please ask them if they are willing to help point participants in the right direction. Willing volunteers should email Shannon Shanning (sshanning@rsu16.org).

Refreshments

Poland Spring is providing water. We will also have granola bars and other small snacks available.

School staff will be taking photos, and we will plan to post a link through the Tri-Town Family 5K Facebook site.
