CLEARWATER STEAM NEWSLETTER

We hope you and your children had a wonderful, restful weekend.

We are still smiling after an amazing week that kicked off with our annual Global School Play Day! This special day gave our students the opportunity for unstructured play, allowing them to laugh, explore, and build stronger friendships with their classmates and teachers.

A huge thank you to our wonderful teachers for making the day so memorable. We also want to extend a special thanks to our wellness team Ms. Thompson, Ms. Cindy, and Ms. Tina for their hard work in planning, setting up, and playing alongside our students with outside activities to make these meaningful connections possible.

Clearwater recently hosted two successful parent engagement events: an Attendance Workshop led by David Sheiner, Coordinator of Student Success Services, and our "Dive into STEAM" afternoon. These opportunities allow parents to experience our instructional program firsthand and understand the vital role attendance plays in student achievement. Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. We look forward to welcoming you back for our next session on March 6th.

In an effort to celebrate the many students who do the right thing even when no one is watching, we are launching our Fin-Tastic Office Referrals. Teachers and staff will award to deserving students. When a student receives an award, Ms. Farfan and/or Dr. Feiler will speak with the student about the positive event or situation that led to the recognition.

We are proud to announce recipients of a Fin-Tastic referral: Adeline Ellis for making the right choice even when others are not. Great Job Adeline!

Happy World Read Aloud Day! We are so excited to share our special community book video with you. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who recorded themselves reading; I had a wonderful time putting this together, and the students are having a blast trying to "guess the voice" on every page!
