Principal's Message
Dear Bethany Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I want to start by expressing my deepest appreciation for all the ways you contribute to Bethany. Our school thrives because of our dedicated community. This was evident by the incredible spirit shown last Friday at our Jog-a-thon. Thank you to our volunteers, cheerleaders, and spectators for being there for your children and all of our students. It was a fantastic event! You can relive the fun by watching the amazing video that Tom Pacyk created below!
Now that October is here, we're certainly feeling the rain and cooler temperatures. With the change in weather, our Lost and Found is already growing. Please, please, please LABEL all coats and sweatshirts so we can quickly return them to your child. A simple name on the tag makes a world of difference!
I hope to see all of you at our PTO meeting on Zoom next Wednesday at 7 pm.
Thank you again for your continued support!
With Gratitude,
Ms. Rosenquist
Interested in being our MORNING CROSSING GUARD?
Mrs. Gandhi has done a wonderful job keeping our students safe as they cross 174th Avenue each morning, but she is looking to reduce her hours slightly. We are hoping someone in our Bethany community would be interested in being paid for 30 minutes a day to do this important, yet fulfilling, job. If you are interested, apply using the link below or go to the Beaverton School District website.

Lost and Found Smart Watch
A smart watch was found on Friday during the Jog-A-Thon, and we’d love to return it to its owner! If you think it might be yours, please stop by the office. Be ready to describe the watch (type, color, brand, etc.) so we can make sure it gets back to the right person.
Thanks for helping us reunite it with its owner!

Reminder: Donation Deadline for Student Prizes
If you'd like your donations to count toward your student's school prizes, please make sure all money is turned in by 4:00 PM tomorrow.
To double-check, please visit your Pledgestar page to confirm that all donations have been received—especially if any are coming from out of town. We understand that company matches may take longer to arrive, but rest assured, they will still count toward prize totals.
We’re happy to accept donations after the deadline, but they won’t be included in the prize totals.

Want To Volunteer: Here is How!
We love having families involved at school, and volunteering is a great way to connect and support our students and staff. To help keep everyone safe, all volunteers need to complete an application through our district’s volunteer system, Raptor, and pass an Oregon criminal background check. Once you're approved, you'll get a confirmation email.
Update: If you were in the system last year, you are still approved.
Volunteer Information and Application
Thanks so much for your support—we couldn’t do it without you!
