MARCH 3, 2020 - Registration is OPEN NOW!!

I absolutely did not know if we were going to be able to pull off having Dr. Jeremy Miciak from the Texas Center for Learning Disabilities with us on March 3, 2020 to discuss Progress Monitoring. But he was able to clear his schedule for us!!!! You can click on the image to be taken to the registration site or click here.

Is it me, or should we all go buy a lottery ticket today? We are going to learn so much from Dr. Miciak. Please read below to find out exactly what Dr. Miciak will share with us on March 3, 2020.

Session Description:

Progress Monitoring is an essential component in an MTSS Framework, but is often misunderstood. Dr. Miciak will situate assessment for progress monitoring within the broader purpose of assessment in MTSS, comparing and contrasting with other assessment types including screening, diagnostic assessment, and comprehensive assessment for disability identification (Full and Individual Evaluations). Session participants will come to understand the importance of routine progress monitoring of at-risk students to facilitate valid educational decision-making. Data Based Individualization (DBI) represents a framework for decision-making around intervention intensity for individual students with persistent learning difficulties. The validity of this decision-making process relies on appropriate administration and interpretation of underlying progress monitoring data.
