Dear Douglas Community,

As I close out my educational career of 34 years on Monday, March 2nd, I want to express my extreme gratitude to all of you. My time as principal at DMS has been the most rewarding of my career. I have been extremely lucky to work with the most talented staff in education, bar none. The Douglas community is full of caring, loving families that value education. The students-the absolute best part of my job, will be remebered and missed.

I would like to welcome Mr. Bishop, the middle school interim principal, to Douglas. Mr. Bishop comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience. A retired adminstrator, he has experience as a teacher, long time school principal, school committee member, and school committee chair. You are in good hands.
