Thank you for not using your cell phone while driving through the lot. Thank you for paying more attention than a large number of adult drivers. PARENTVUE/PARENTSQUARE

We have three different platforms that help you partner with us to support your student.

ParentVue gives you access to your student's grades, attendance, course history, and more. ParentSquare is a communication platform designed to keep parents and guardians informed.

My Payments Plus (MPP) is the resource used for student meal accounts, registering and paying for student activities, making donations to the school, and more.

All of these tools have web and app versions. Due to the transition from Parent Portal to ParentVue, some parents are having difficulties logging in. Please click here for a help guide to log into ParentVue.

STUDENTSQUARE

We also have platforms to keep your students connected and informed as well! Check and make sure they have StudentVue and StudentSquare downloaded on their devices. Some clubs and grade levels (looking at you, seniors!) will be using ParentSquare to communicate, and if students have the app, they can receive notifications more easily. Click here for help guides to set up the StudentSquare app.

We are preparing for District Assessment Interim season. Students enrolled in the courses below will take a District Assessment Interim (midterm) for 5% of their grade.

District Assessments are developed to align to the Academic, Knowledge, and Skills (AKS) and GCPS instructional calendars in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. These assessments allow students to demonstrate what they know, understand, and are able to do and help teachers determine whether students are performing as expected or need additional support to be successful.

District Assessment Interim Testing Schedule:

• Tuesday, October 8th: World History and U.S. History
• Wednesday, October 9th: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Wednesday, October 16th: 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Language Arts

Dear Parkview Families,

Parkview PTSA would like to welcome all of our new and returning families to the 2024-2025 school year. We want every family to have the opportunity to be involved with PTSA and feel connected. The Parkview PTSA provides a unique opportunity that brings everyone together as one community. Research shows students benefit from a strong school environment, with engaged teachers and involved parents.

This leads to higher grades, improved test scores and increased attendance. Current PTSA initiatives include:

• Community Event Parkview Day
• Grants to staff for educational initiatives
• Reflections, a national, PTA full range arts competition
• Staff appreciation luncheon
• Support of Parkview’s Care Team
• Baccalaureate Ceremony for graduating seniors

Your purchase of a Parkview PTSA Membership is what supports these and other Parkview initiatives.
