Week of November 18th - November 22nd
A NOTE FROM MS. SICKLER
CONFERENCES - THIS WEEK!
A strong partnership between school and home can be a powerful tool in supporting a student's development throughout the school year. During conferences, you can expect the teacher to highlight your student's strengths in various subjects as well as areas for growth. Teachers will also discuss your student's social progress and how they're developing independence and work habits in the classroom. Often, teachers will showcase examples of student work, so you can see firsthand how your student is progressing.
Check out this PBS KIDS webinar featuring parents and educators and find out how they support the children in their lives. Family experts share ideas on how to come together to build a parent-teacher relationship, communicate to help your student learn and grow, and celebrate when your student thrives.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Tom's Coffee Truck will be parked at Harvest from 1:00-7:00pm. Feel free to get a drink before/after your conference. Some of the proceeds from your drink will go to Harvest PTO!
