Arcadia Stars Newsletter
January 23rd, 2025
From the Desk of the Principal
Dear Arcadia Star Students, Families, and Staff,
Although we have had several snow days, we have officially settled back into our routines after the Winter break, and the classrooms are buzzing with energy! We have just concluded midyear assessments, and report cards will be coming home with students in the next couple weeks.
As we wrap up January, I wanted to share a few quick reminders for our school community during these chilly months:
Bundle Up: Please ensure your child comes to school with a coat, hat, and gloves. We go outside for recess whenever the temperature allows!
The Lost & Found: Our Lost & Found collection has grown significantly this month. Please encourage your child to check for missing items, or feel free to stop by and ask to take a look.
Health & Attendance: We know "bug season" is upon us. Thank you for keeping children home when they have a fever, but prioritizing attendance when they are healthy. Every day of learning counts!
Thank you for your continued partnership. Here is to a fantastic February ahead!
Reminder: No School for students on Monday, February 2nd!
Wishing Blessings, Peace, and Joy,
Meaghan O. Timmons
Principal, Arcadia
Happy Birthday Martin Luther King !

Attendance Updates
We would like to welcome Ms. Catie West to the Arcadia Staff Team! She is Arcadia's new Home Support Specialist. Ms. West will be working with families to support students' attendance. She will assist families by reaching out with phone calls, home visits, and creating attendance improvement plans. She will also be working with students by checking on daily attendance at school, running positive attendance support plans, and building relationships and community here at Arcadia! Welcome Ms. West!
