Principals Note
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful parents for all of their support over the last term. We have had a very busy term, and very much look forward to sharing the final Ofsted judgements with you after the break.
I wish you all a wonderful Easter break, with family and friends, supported by the sunshine, I hope.
Mrs Robinson
Principal.
GCSE Easter Intervention
With less than 40 days until the first exam and as part of our continued commitment to ensuring that your child is exam-ready, we will be running intervention sessions during the Easter Holidays.
You have been emailed the full exam timetable for this summer, and students will shortly receive their timetables.
It is important that your child attends these sessions, and these will be specific to their needs.
Students must enter and leave the Academy via the front reception and sign in and out. They will need to arrive 10 minutes before the session starts so that these can begin promptly. There will be breaks and snacks provided throughout the day, but if they will be here for two sessions, we recommend bringing a packed lunch.
Year 8 Science Museum Trip
As part of our KS3 Journey, our Year 8's visited the Science Museum in London. They spent the day exploring fascinating exhibits, engaging in interactive activities, and learning about scientific principles in a hands-on manner.
Students encountered displays on topics like space exploration, biology, physics, and environmental science. They participated in workshops in the Wonderlab, and watched demonstrations that bring scientific concepts to life, sparking curiosity and creativity. The visit aimed to inspire young minds, deepen their understanding of science, and connect classroom learning to real-world applications.
It also encouraged teamwork and critical thinking through group activities and discussions. Overall, our trip to the science museum was not only educational but was also an exciting experience that blended fun and learning seamlessly. A great day was had by all!
Dugdale Arts Theatre Enfield
Very proud to see the Year 13 performing arts class work with 75 year 5 students From Prince of Wales Primary school, teaching them a dance and performing excerpts from Hamilton, before moving on perform at Dugdale Arts Centre and to be filmed for a documentary to present to Enfield Council for funding a youth theatre at Dugdale.
PSG Football Academy
We are really excited about a potential new partnership for OAE, with the world famous PSG Football Club. We are hoping to be the North London Hub for the PSG Football Academy, from September 2025.
The first stage of the partnership process is to find out how many of our students would wish to take part by registering their interest using the QR codes linked below.
We are looking for keen sports students. We are looking for all levels of football experience from beginners to currently playing regularly for a local team.
The level of experience is not what the trial is for at this stage, we are simply trying to find out how many of our students are interested in taking part after school, on our site. We are looking for all age groups from Y7-13.

Nut Free Academy
Please be reminded that under no circumstances should nuts or any food containing nuts be bought into the academy.
The academy is a nut free school, and we have students with severe life-threatening nut allergies.
Attendance
The Academy attendance target is 96%. We are currently at 92.3%. Your support in ensuring that you child attends school everyday is essential in securing success for them. Every day missed, means that opportunities to learn are missed and the chance of success is reduced.

School Policies - Our Expectations and Standards
Uniform
To ensure that students are “ready” for school after the Easter break, please check your child’s uniform, school shoes and equipment for lessons. Pastoral teams and staff will be rewarding those students with the correct equipment for lessons and those with the correct uniform, including PE kit.
If there are special circumstances regarding a student’s uniform or equipment for lessons, please inform the relevant Head of Year prior to our return to site on Tuesday 22nd April
Students are expected to attend the Academy in full school uniform each day.
Students are expected to wear formal skirts and trouser, with skirts being knee length and trousers word around the waist.
Students will be rewarded with L points for consistently meeting our high standards and C points if they are choosing to persistently fail to meet our high standards. If your child has a uniform issue, please contact the Academy via info@oasisenfield.org and we will support them to be dressed correctly each day. Students get the opportunity to borrow items from our uniform shop, each day, to ensure that they start the day well. This is located in the Oasis Community Space on the A floor and is open from 8am - 8.20am each day.
Full uniform details are found on our website:
Community Expectations
At OAE we embody our expectations in everything we do. We do this through our behaviours and attitudes, modelling to the young people at OAE and expecting to see the same high standards from them.

Our Ethos at Oasis Academy Enfield
Our ethos is rooted in what we believe and who we are. Grounded in our story, it is an expression of our character; a set of values that inform and provide the lens on everything we do.
- A passion to include
- A desire to treat people equally respecting differences
- A commitment to healthy, open relationships
- A deep sense of hope that things can change and be transformed
- A sense of perseverance to keep going for the long haul
It is these ethos values that we want to be known for and to live by. We are committed to a model of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope, and perseverance throughout all the aspects of the life and culture of every Oasis Hub and academy community.
We encourage every member of our family, be that staff or student, to align themselves to these ethos values. The values themselves are inspired by the life, message and example of Jesus but we make it clear that we will not impose on anyone, the beliefs that underpin our ethos values. We recognise and celebrate the richness that spiritual and cultural diversity brings to our community, respecting the beliefs and practices of other faiths in the hope that we will provide a welcoming environment for all.
