Cub Connection
Week of January 6, 2025
Winter Break will begin on Monday, December 23rd and continue through Monday, January 6th. School will resume our regular schedule on Tuesday, January 7th. Also, school will be closed on Monday, January 20th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Please notify your child care provider of these changes in our schedule.
We hope everyone in the CUB family has a restful and fun winter break and a wonderful holiday season!
Clovis Unified launched an exciting new way to communicate with parents and for you to communicate with us. ParentSquare is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with your school(s) and the district. It’s that time of the year...the flu, sore throats, Covid, and fevers are among us. To protect your kiddos and their peers, we implement a district policy for any student with a fever, vomiting/diarrhea, or antibiotic treatment.
Please Remember: 24 hour rule!!
Fever- Students must be fever free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication (i.e. Tylenol, ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, etc.) before returning to school
Vomiting/diarrhea- Students with vomiting/diarrhea must be free of those symptoms for 24 hours before returning to school.
Antibiotics- Students who have started antibiotics must be on treatment for 24 hours before returning to school.
