LISD Expect Excellence Newsletter

At Levelland ISD, we believe every student has a place, a purpose, and a future worth discovering. Our vision is simple but powerful: Find Your Place. Discover Your Purpose. Create Your Future. We want every Lobo to know that their journey matters and that Levelland ISD is a place where they can explore their strengths, uncover their passions, and prepare for whatever comes next. Our mission is to help make that happen: Helping every Lobo discover their path and create their future.

That commitment goes beyond academics. It means providing opportunities, building meaningful relationships, encouraging students to dream big, and helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue their goals.Whether a student's path leads to college, a career, the military, technical training, or another opportunity, we want them to leave Levelland ISD prepared to take the next step with confidence. This is who we are. This is what we believe. And this is the promise we make to every student who walks through our doors.

Find Your Place. Discover Your Purpose. Create Your Future.

Proud to be a Lobo,

Dr. Don Heseman, Superintendent

Levelland ISD is incredibly proud to celebrate 55 outstanding educators as we award an amazing $1,027,000 through the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)! The Teacher Incentive Allotment was created by the Texas Legislature to recognize, reward & retain highly effective teachers while creating opportunities for educators to earn increased compensation & continue making a difference in the classroom. But tonight is about so much more than a dollar amount. It is about celebrating the teachers who show up every day, build relationships, inspire confidence, challenge students to grow & help every Lobo Find Their Place. To our LISD educators receiving TIA awards — this is YOUR Night of the Stars! You have earned this recognition through the impact you make on students, classrooms & our entire district. We see you. We appreciate you. And tonight, we celebrate YOU! https://www.facebook.com/reel/3610686542432886

We have a High Five Friday to share with you! We are incredibly proud of five Levelland ISD educators who gave their time and shared their expertise with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) this summer to help shape high-quality state assessments for Texas students! Kayla Kelly, Julianne Baumgardner, Ashley Lomeli Guzman, Sandy Billington, and Suzanna Ramirez are dedicated educators who collaborated with teachers from across Texas to review potential test questions, evaluate content and difficulty, and help ensure assessments are appropriate and relevant for students. We are so thankful they gave their time, knowledge & experience to this important work, and especially proud that Levelland ISD had a voice at the table! Their impact will reach far beyond our district and benefit students across Texas. Thank you, Kayla, Julianne, Ashley, Sandy & Suzanna, for representing Levelland ISD so well! You are helping our students Find Their Place, Discover Their Purpose & Create Their Future!

We send out a big THANK YOU to the Levelland Realtors Association for spending time with us & learning more about Levelland ISD! We loved the opportunity to share the great things happening across our district and how we are helping every student Find Their Place, Discover Their Purpose & Create Their Future. Our local Realtors are often some of the first people welcoming new families to Levelland, and we appreciate them helping families learn about our schools, our students & the community we are so proud to call home. Thank you for taking an interest in Levelland ISD & for being such an important connection between our schools and our community. We know that great schools and a great community make a great place to call home! https://www.facebook.com/reel/1782069502819044

Our Lobos celebrated Helmets with Heroes Day over the weekend, and what a special reminder of the people who are always behind our players! We are so thankful for our incredible Lobo families who stand up, stand out & stand with our guys every step of the way as they find their place. From the sidelines to the stands and everywhere in between, your love, encouragement & support mean more than you know. Family, tradition & community are at the heart of Lobo Football, and that's what makes being a Lobo so special! (Photos courtesy Molly Hastings.)

Congratulations to our LMS Lobos and Loboettes on their first Cross Country Meet!
