May 2026 - Special Edition

A Note From Ms. Fisher
Welcome to this special edition of our school newsletter! We have had so many exciting events, celebrations, and student accomplishments happening around campus that we could not wait to share them with our OES families. From outstanding student achievements and exciting Walk-a-Thon scooter races to our fun-filled SSYRA Reading Carnival for grades 1–5, there has been something special taking place for everyone to enjoy.
Students also celebrated with popcorn rewards, and our incredible one-million-word readers earned a well-deserved bowling field trip to recognize their hard work and dedication to reading. In addition, our amazing media assistants have been hard at work helping in the library and learning valuable leadership and organizational skills.
There is always something exciting happening on our campus, and we are proud to celebrate the many ways our students continue to learn, grow, and shine each day. Be sure to take a look inside to see all the fun, achievements, and memorable moments from around our school.
Go Chiefs! 💛❤️

Learning Environment Requests
Looking towards next year, the classroom placement process at Osceola Elementary School will continue to follow the district-wide procedures established through the collaborative efforts and consensus of elementary principals across the school district. OES administration and staff carefully consider multiple factors when making classroom placements, including academic data, program needs, social development, and each student’s individual needs.
Parents who would like to share additional information regarding their child’s specific needs, learning style, or characteristics for consideration in the placement process may do so by emailing Ms. Fisher at fishet@collierschools.com . While specific teacher requests cannot be accommodated, all information shared will be thoughtfully considered as part of the placement process.
