Cornhole is a game that allows every person to participate! There is great camaraderie among players where opponents cheer and respect one another. Come enjoy this positive atmosphere while learning the basic skills of cornhole, including playing at actual distance, developing effective throws, and learning how to throw a flat bag. Students that progress quickly through the basics can learn more advanced skills, like throwing airmail shots, placing blocker bags, and dragging bags in with effective shots. FOOD SCIENCE

The Food Science Course at Maria Weston Chapman's Summer Enrichment Program will explore the intersection of culinary arts and science in the school's new state-of-the-art kitchen. We will discover the physical and chemical reasons as to why some foods turn sweet when exposed to heat, why some become light and airy when they are agitated, and why some form curds in an acidic environment. Students in this program will get a chance to simultaneously develop their culinary and scientific skills while hearing from other students and professionals in the food science industry.
