Message from Mr. Imbusch
Dear students, staff, and parents/guardians:
This Sunday, June 7th, we are scheduled to hold our Graduation Ceremony at 1pm on Turco Field. However, given the weather forecast, we may need to make adjustments to either the location or the start time. A final decision will be made Sunday morning based on the latest weather conditions.
Please be aware that there is a possibility we may need to move the ceremony start time to 12:00 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. to avoid anticipated weather. The ceremony will not begin any earlier than 12:00 p.m. If any changes are necessary, I will communicate them to students and families by email as early as possible.
Should weather conditions require us to move indoors, the ceremony will be held in the Fieldhouse. Each graduate received five rain tickets during practice this morning. If the ceremony is moved indoors, we must strictly adhere to this five-ticket limit in order to comply with fire code regulations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
For family members and friends who are unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be streamed live. You may use the graduation livestream link here or visit our main livestream page and select the ceremony as it is taking place. In addition, the ceremony will be broadcast in the auditorium for those who wish to watch it there.
If the ceremony remains at its scheduled 1:00 p.m. start time, all graduates must report to their homerooms in the Math Wing by 12:15 p.m. on Sunday.
A note for parents and families: Many families choose to display congratulatory posters along the fence leading to the field. Since this fence was recently replaced, we ask that you please avoid using tape to secure posters. Zip ties are preferred whenever possible. We also ask that all posters be removed following the ceremony, especially with rain expected later in the day.
Thank you for your flexibility and support as we work to provide our graduates with the memorable ceremony they deserve. We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 with all of you on Sunday.
Finally, this is a reminder for current juniors....please see the attached Summer Program brochure which lists the two summer enrichment classes - College Applications & College Essay Writing. Registration will close early next week.
Sincerely,
Stephen Imbusch
Principal
SAT ~ Saturday, June 6th
A message for students (and families of students) taking the SAT tomorrow:
Please review this link of things to bring with you. It is essential that you bring a valid photo ID. A photocopy or digital version of your ID will not be acceptable. Your school ID, drivers license, or passport will work. Good luck!
Summer Math
Summer math work was shared with students this week. The work is done in DeltaMath, which students are familiar with. Completion of the work will not only help students be more prepared for their next course, but will also earn 1/2 credit and impact eligibility for honor roll in term 1. All details are included in this letter. Please reach out to Jon Ridolfi, the math department chair, at jridolfi@walpole.k12.ma.us with any questions or concerns.

Yearbook Announcements for the Class of 2026
SENIOR parents/guardians: Now that we are in Term 4, the Yearbook staff is kindly asking you to send in any images/candids from Spring-related events for the Senior class. Use this direct link to our Jostens Yearbook image library, or have your Senior upload them into the dropboxes of the Class of 2026 Google Classroom. We’re looking forward to seeing the images you share from the Prom, Film Festival, Spring Sports, Senior Dinner, Senior Walk to Elementary schools, and the Graduation, as well as any other school events.
Info about when Seniors get their Yearbook:
The Yearbook comes in 2 pieces. The “Main Book” has all Fall and Winter events/sports and portraits. The “Spring Supplement” is published after graduation and includes all Spring events/sports.
The Main Book will be ready for each Senior to pick up at the Senior Dinner on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 6pm in the WHS cafeteria. This is when the Senior class has time to sign each other’s Yearbooks. Senior Yearbooks are PAID FOR by the class dues, so NO further payment is required once dues are paid.
The Spring Supplement typically gets delivered to the school in July. DUE TO ONGOING CONSTRUCTION at the High School, the Spring Supplement will be stored at Walpole MIDDLE School over the summer and should be picked up there by the Senior or family member. I will send an email to all students and families about when the Spring Supplement is ready for pickup at the Middle School’s Main Office.
Please reach out to Mrs. Harris with any questions regarding the Yearbook: lharris@walpole.k12.ma.us
