Mid-Week Update!

We're excited to announce Free Book Friday, a great opportunity to get new books into the hands of your students and help build their home libraries. This isn't a typical library visit—it's a chance for kids to pick a book of their very own to keep forever.

To participate, simply comment in the LRC schedule a 15-minute slot between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Friday schedule. In your comment, please note if you prefer this to be a one time visit or a recurring time and how frequently you'd like to come.

Please keep in mind that this time is just for students to select their free book, not to browse or check out books from our regular collection. To make sure everyone gets a chance, each student can take one free book per visit.

We can't wait to see your students and help them find their next great read!

Mary is stopping by today from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the teacher's lounge to renew library cards!

Current Educator Cards expired on 8-15-25. To renew, you may stop by the St. Charles Public Library and show your current staff ID card OR you may stop by the teacher lunchroom at Richmond on Sept. 17th from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

You will not be issued a new card; your existing card will simply be renewed. If you've moved schools, changed your address, phone number or your name, you will need to share that information with me so that I can update your Educator Card account. Thank you!
