2026 - 2027 WEST OTTAWA BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING
Great news! West Ottawa’s Before/After School Program (BASP) registration for the 2026–27 school year is now open to Lakewood Families!
Before registering, please review the 2026/27 BASP Handbook for important program details.
When ready, submit your student’s 2026/27 BASP Registration.
Key Information:
- BASP is tuition-funded and program availability depends on enrollment. A minimum of 8 students is required at each site. Therefore, placement is not guaranteed. Final site decisions will be made by July 31, 2026.
- Spots are first come, first serve.
- A $50 non-refundable registration fee per student and completed documents are required to secure placement. (Fees will be refunded only if a site is canceled due to low enrollment.)
- Registration and payments are managed through ProCare.
BASP is operated through West Ottawa’s Central Office. For questions, please contact Charlene Farner at FarnerC@westottawa.net.

Online Registration
Please log in to the Parent Portal and complete online registration for the next school year. The earlier this information is submitted, the better our district can prepare for big picture planning. Thank you!
Once you're in the parent portal, look at the left hand side and follow these easy instructions:
Select "More"
Then "Online Registration"- should be the fifth option
Select " 26-27 next School year for existing student"
START
Even if your situation may change ( possibility of moving etc.) please complete the registration for the 2026-2027 school year.

YOUNG KINDER AND KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN
KINDERGARTEN:
DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE 5 ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1 OF THE PROGRAM YEAR.
YOUNG KINDERS:
TAILORED FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE TECHNICALLY AGE APPROPRIATE FOR KINDERGARTEN, BUT ARE YOUNGER BASED ON THEIR BIRTHDAY (TYPICALLY SEPT. UP TO DEC 1ST) AND WOULD BENEFIT FROM AN ADDITIONAL YEAR.
New families can enroll here!
