Parking Reminder

Please remember that families should not park on the neighboring side streets or in the alleys at any time. Parking there can block driveways and mailboxes and make the streets too narrow for residents and emergency vehicles to pass safely.

We want to be respectful, considerate neighbors and honor the requests of those who live near our school. If the Aquarian parking lot is full, please park at City Diner and walk over.

Thank you for helping us maintain a positive relationship with our neighbors!

Original Works Art Fundraiser

A note from Ms. Lisa in the art room…

This Thursday, October 15th is the last chance to order products from the Original Works Art Fundraiser!

The Original Works Company scans your child’s artwork and prints it on quality items such as notecards, magnets, mugs, towels, and more. Proceeds from this fundraiser make up a significant portion of Aquarian’s art room supply budget. Thank you for considering ordering to support the art program!

Artwork, catalogs, and price lists came home last week. Orders are due October 15th, and items will be mailed to Aquarian by late November. Please see the packet for more information. There is a helpful list of FAQ’s on the back of the price sheet in the packet.

Email questions to Ms. Lisa at chelmo_lisa@asdk12.org. Thank you for supporting Aquarian’s art program!

Pulsera Project

Thank you so much for supporting the Spanish Club Pulsera Sale! Thanks to your amazing generosity, we raised $2,158! It has been wonderful seeing students proudly wearing their colorful pulseras around school.

We still have about 100 pulseras left. If you would like to purchase a few more, please feel free to stop by the Spanish room on Tuesdays or Thursdays after school from 3:30 - 4:30. Remaining pulseras will be available until October 15th, after which they will be returned to The Pulsera Project headquarters.

Sincerely,

Sra. Lisa & the Spanish Club 🙂

Aquarian’s 25 Rules to Live By

At Aquarian, we teach, model, and live by our 25 Rules to Live By. These expectations help students develop respect, responsibility, integrity, perseverance, and compassion, skills that support their success both in school and throughout life.

We encourage families to review the attached rules with their children and reinforce them at home whenever possible. When school and home work together to uphold consistent expectations, we help our students grow into thoughtful, responsible, and compassionate members of our community. Thank you for partnering with us!
