Tag Sale
Thank you to all the volunteers and shoppers for making the Weybridge tag sale a huge success
Meal Order
Below you will find the form to complete before Monday morning at 7:30am for ordering breakfast and lunch for your student/s. Click on the button and help your child make their food choices for the week. Thank you
Dear Families,
As many of you have heard, Mel will be going on leave for the rest of the year starting Monday, May 12. Christina Wadsworth, our former 4/5 teacher, is available to step in as long-term sub, with Samantha filling in for the week of 5/27. We are incredibly fortunate that Christina and Samantha are able to flex their schedules to do this, so that there is minimal disruption to the classroom community and learning.
FOWE news: The tag sale was a huge success. Over $2000 were raised! Thanks to all who helped out. Truly a monumental task. Also, the jars of “overnight oatmeal” prepared for the staff in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week were very much appreciated! Thank you.
Spring reminder - after school playground supervision: If you and your child/ren are staying after school to play on the playground, please be sure that you are supervising them and that they know you are doing so. While you visit with other parents, to ensure the play stays safe, please move around and keep an eye on where and what the children are doing. Thanks so much.
Lunch volunteers - We need volunteers for Monday, Thursday and Friday next week. If you can volunteer for one of these days, please email me cjohnston@acsdvt.org or sign up directly on the calendar.
Best, Christina

Teacher & Staff Appreciation and Nominations!
Our teachers and staff are amazing! At ACSD, we turn Teacher Appreciation Week into Teacher & Staff Appreciation Month. You can help! Share an appreciation HERE.
Parents ~ Ask your child if a teacher or grown-up has done something to make their school day better. Open the form and fill it out together or share something you have appreciated!
Students ~ ALL appreciations matter...but hearing your words is especially meaningful!
The form will be open all month. You can also nominate our ACSD Teacher & Staff of the Year awards (presented at our August 2025 staff Welcome Back week)!
We’re raising pay for substitutes! Apply now!
Substitute teachers are crucial for our students, staff, staff, and schools! We are increasing our daily substitute teaching rate to $160/day for unlicensed subs and $200/day for licensed subs. This change begins on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 when students return from winter break. This flat rate replaces our sliding rate of pay for subs depending on the number of days worked.
To apply, you can email your interest to HR@acsdvt.org with "Substitute Position" in the subject line. You can also visit this listing on school spring.
